Jessica Margarita Hernández Cruz

Jessica holds a law degree from the Barra Nacional de Abogados Law School, has completed her Master's in Administrative and Tax Law, and is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Law. She has over ten years of professional experience advising government entities, companies and individuals on administrative law, tax law, civil-service law, public procurement, administrative liability, regulatory compliance, transparency, access to information, amparo and administrative litigation. Throughout her career she has participated in drafting, analyzing and reviewing legislative bills, regulatory reforms, guidelines, administrative manuals, contracts, domestic and international agreements, and regulatory instruments. She has been involved in projects related to regulatory improvement, institutional strengthening, government evaluation, internal control, auditing and public policy development. She specializes in designing legal strategies for high-complexity regulatory and contentious matters, and in the legal structuring of projects involving administrative, budgetary, financial and compliance aspects. In litigation, she has represented and defended individuals and companies in administrative, tax, family, civil, commercial and constitutional proceedings.
